I work with adults who want to understand why their lives are not going the way they want and who unsuccessfully have struggled to overcome their challenges on their own. I have 26 years of experience in independent clinical practice and have trained hundreds of individuals to become psychologists. Having a strong background in higher education and academia, I am familiar with the latest treatment advances and can tailor my work with you to best suit your individual needs.
I am a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and Society for Personality Assessment. . I also am board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board fof Professional Psychology. My office serves individuals in Northville, Northville Twp., Novi, Plymouth, and surrounding areas, though a number of people from southeast Michigan and throughout Michigan select me as their provider.
Past accomplishments include:
I work with adults and older adolescents experiencing difficulty in navigating life's many challenges and uncertainties. Since 2018, I have provided clinical services in a variety of treatment settings throughout Metro Detroit. Having worked with a diverse population, I recognize each client as a unique individual and tailor therapeutic experiences to fit your needs. I provide therapy primarily from a psychodynamic orientation, integrating skills-based approaches as needed. Within a supportive, empathic environment, my style of therapy explores past experiences that often shape our current functioning. Through a deeper understanding of ourselves and our patterns, therapy can facilitate change. My goal is to promote curiosity, insight, and autonomy, allowing for healthier ways of coping and healing.

I work with adults and older adolescents, conducting psychological testing and evaluation for a variety of problems or conditions. For individuals struggling to find the right type of treatment, seeking accommodations for high school or higher education, or simply wanting to understand themselves better, a psychological evaluation can be a valuable first or next step. Being able to put a name to your struggles in and of itself can bring relief and help give direction for finding treatment that is the best fit for you.
I provide psychological testing and evaluation for adults and adolescents 16+ for ADHD and Learning Disorders, and have specialized experience with assessment of psychotic disorders and bipolar disorders. Whether you are troubled by anxiety, depression, trauma, or one of the conditions listed above, a thorough psychological evaluation can help you understand what you are struggling with and provide recommendations for next steps.
Evaluations are conducted from a thoughtful and empathic perspective in order to truly understand what is troubling you. Opening up for an assessment can be challenging, but is an excellent opportunity to learn more about yourself and uncover what treatments might be best for you.

I am a limited licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment for adults seeking insight into how their personality, life, context, and past experiences contribute to their problems. My approach blends psychoanalytic theory with acceptance-based approaches to identify and resolve self-defeating patterns of behavior.
I work primarily with adults and students who struggle with perfectionism, shame, emotional instability, and relational conflict. Our focus goes beyond symptom relief—Our work starts with the acknowledgment that symptoms like anxiety or conflict avoidance are solutions to larger emotional issues capable of resolution through deep personal reflection and insight.
Therapy is conducted in a thoughtful, empathetic space where introspection is supported and encouraged. Sessions begin by clarifying concerns, then move toward deeper inquiry to promote emotional flexibility, relational clarity, and a more authentic sense of self. High-frequency sessions (2–3x/week) are available for those seeking a more intensive therapeutic experience.
